Faith seeking understanding, my personal journey towards a deeper knowledge of and intimacy with God, the cosmos, humanity and myself through thoughts, words and (occasionally) images, is a series of [hopefully] daily reflections I’m writing with the purpose of publishing something on a regular basis for others to read, either here, at or among my writings at

Folks who follow me may be surprised to see that I’m writing reflections again under the title of “Faith seeking understanding.” Although I swore off the series and thought I was bringing it to a close in #072: “Goodbye to “Faith seeking understanding”? I couldn’t envision an umbrella for another series that “felt” as right as this one.

So will I be talking more about faith? Will I share more of what I have come to understand? Perhaps.

I will continue to write about what moves me on a particular day—and that could be about anything—but I hope to share some of my faith journey with you in this space, and that faith journey is inextricably intertwined with my writing journey. At least for now.

So, if you have been following this series for a while thank you for continuing to read these reflections. If you are new to the series, please poke around and see if you like what is presented here.

Please give me some feedback. It doesn’t have to be in the form of likes or claps, but, as I wrote in my earlier post on Medium today, that would be instructive and encouraging to me. Nevertheless, if you have read this far, your attention is reward enough. I greatly appreciate it.

May God richly bless you on your journey.

Thank you for your time and attention.
I’d love to know your thoughts on what you’ve read.
